Eva Amurri is the daughter of Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri and American actress Susan Sarandon with actor/director Tim Robbins as a former step-father. Born into a Hollywood family, the young Eva Amurri grew up on film sets and began receiving small roles on her parents’ films at age 7.

In 1992, Eva Amurri landed her first on-screen appearance on the political satire “Bob Roberts.” She then appeared on several films starring Susan Sarandon, including the 1995 award-winning movie “Dead Man Walking,” the 1999 coming-of-age drama “Anywhere but Here,” and the 1999 made-for-TV crime drama “Earthly Possessions.” In 2001, Eva and her mom made a guest appearance on the hit TV sitcom “Friends.”

In 2002, Eva Amurri worked alongside her mom in the comedy “The Banger Sisters,” where she plays the daughter of Sarandon’s character named Ginger. Eva’s role gained notice as she portrays an overly privileged teenager straightened up by Goldie Hawn’s character. For her role on the film, Eva Amurri received a Young Artist Award for “Best Performance in a Feature Film - Supporting Young Actress.”

Eva Amurri landed a project of her own in the 2004 mockumentary “Made-Up,” which satirizes the reality-TV makeover craze. On the film, Amurri played aspiring cosmetologist named Sara Tivey, who wants to document her aging actress mom’s makeover. Also in 2004, Eva Amurri worked alongside Macaulay Culkin, Mandy Moore and Jena Malone in the black comedy “Saved!,” where she played the only Jewish girl named Cassandra at the American Eagle Christian High School.

In 2007, Eva Amurri appeared the drama “The Education of Charlie Banks” and worked alongside Uma Thurman and Evan Rachel Wood on the thriller “The Life Before Her Eyes.” The following year, she reunited with her mother Susan Sarandon for the comedy flick “Middle of Nowhere” and had a supporting role on the 2008 horror movie “Animals.”

In 2009, Eva Amurri had a small role in the romance-drama film “New York, I Love You.” That same year, she starred on the made-for-TV movie “Possible Side Effects,” directed by her former step-father “Possible Side Effects.” Also in 2009, Amurri made a guest appearance on the sitcom “How I Met Your Mother” and received a recurring role on “Californication,” where she portrays a student and love interest of David Duchovny’s character Hank. Eva continued to make guest appearances on other TV shows in 2010, including “Mercy” and “House M.D.” That same year, Eva Amurri landed a starring role on the 2011 thriller movie “Isolation.”
